Pommelien Thijs (24 years old) has established herself as a true multidisciplinary pop phenomenon. Singer, musician, actress, and fashion creator, she explores universal themes with a singular sensitivity and a boldly claimed artistic freedom.

With her second album Gedoe, the Belgian superstar continues to push boundaries, both in content and form. Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s En attendant Godot, the album offers an intimate dive into Pommelien’s universe, balancing intensity, fragility, and irony. Driven by strong tracks such as Atlas, Het midden (feat. MEAU), and Het beste moet nog komen, Gedoe tackles relationships, the world around us, the present, and the future with remarkable precision.

After the explosive success of her debut album Per Ongeluk — multi‑platinum, chart‑topping, and awarded 12 MIA’s — Pommelien keeps breaking records. Atlas remained in the number‑one spot on the Ultratop 50 for twenty‑one weeks and won the VRT Zomerhit in 2025. On stage, she confirms her status with major concerts and festivals (Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Pinkpop…) and several sold‑out shows, including AFAS Live and the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.
