Iliona

Born in Brussels with the new millennium, Iliona grows up without grand stories, except those she writes alone in the evening. As a teenager, Iliona waits. For things to move, for freedom and passion finally to appear. Iliona waits, plays the piano, writes songs she produces herself to master each nuance and inflection.

It is ‘Moins Joli’, a poignant ballad about the final moment shared by two lovers, that first draws attention. Two EPs follow, already showing the range of styles Iliona is able to explore, from deconstructed bedroom pop to a tribute to the sixties: Tristesse (2020) and Tête Brûlée (2022).

After confirming her return with the tracks « Le Lapin », « Stp » and « Rater une rupture pour les nuls », Iliona unveils her first album ‘What if I break up with you ?’, released on 14 March 2025.
