Bastien and Quentin meet in 2017, driven by a common passion for DJing and house music. Influenced by artists such as Lost Frequencies and Don Diablo, they join forces in 2018 to form Calumny. Their first single Infinitely quickly attracts attention, exceeds 100,000 listens and benefits from airplay on Belgium’s main national radios, including Fun Radio and Radio Contact.
Since then, Calumny has gradually built its trajectory on the international electronic scene. With over 3 million cumulative listens, including strong recognition for their album HATCH released in 2023, the duo quickly exports internationally. They perform notably in France (Boww Festival, July 14 celebrations in Hautmont), Spain (Pacha La Pineda) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam Dance Event), sharing the bill with Kungs, Bob Sinclar, The Avener, Mosimann and Vladimir Cauchemar.
In 2024, Calumny takes a new step with the launch of its own show on Fun Radio, strengthening its visibility on the mainstream electronic circuit. The following year marks a real turning point: after a 35-date tour, their viral concept Seatbelt exceeds 6 million views, attracts industry attention and leads to a signing with Wagram Music, while joining the international EDM label Future House Cloud.
In parallel, Calumny produces several high-profile official remixes, including Take It Easy On Me by Bob Sinclar and Halo by Mosimann, released on December 19, 2025 on Sony Music France. Their original single The Feeling benefits from strong radio support in France, enters the Top 100 Shazam and iTunes, and reaches the Top 30 of Belgian airplay, confirming their rise both on digital and traditional media.
Recognized for its energetic performances, constantly evolving sound and marked visual identity, Calumny continues its international development and establishes itself as one of the most promising emerging duos on the current electronic scene.
