Pommelien Thijs (24) has established herself as a true multidisciplinary pop phenomenon. As a singer, musician, actress and fashion designer, she explores universal themes with a distinctive sensitivity and a bold artistic freedom.
With her second album Gedoe, the Belgian superstar continues to push boundaries, both musically and lyrically. Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, the album offers an intimate dive into Pommelien’s world, balancing intensity, vulnerability and irony. Carried by powerful tracks such as Atlas, Het midden (feat. MEAU) and Het beste moet nog komen, Gedoe explores relationships, the world around us, the present and the future with striking clarity.
Following the runaway success of her debut album Per Ongeluk — multi-platinum, chart-topping and awarded 12 MIA’s — Pommelien keeps breaking records. Atlas spent 21 weeks at number one in the Ultratop 50 and won the VRT Zomerhit in 2025. On stage, she confirms her status with major concerts and festival appearances (Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Pinkpop…) and multiple sold-out shows, including AFAS Live and Antwerp’s Sportpaleis.
Alongside her music career, Pommelien also shines as an actress. In the Netflix and VRTMAX series Knokke Off (High Tides internationally), she delivers a standout performance that has captivated audiences in over 40 countries. She also appears on the big screen in Patsers, directed by Adil & Bilall.
