Born in Brussels with the dawn of the second millennium, Iliona grew up quietly — except for the stories she wrote alone at night. As a teenager, Iliona waited. For things to finally change, for freedom and passion to unfold. Iliona waits, plays piano, composes songs she produces on her own to master every nuance and every inflection.

It was ‘Moins Joli’, a poignant ballad about the final moment shared by two lovers, that first drew attention. Two EPs followed, already showcasing the range of styles Iliona can explore — deconstructed bedroom pop or sixties-inspired homage: Tristesse (2020) and Tête Brûlée (2022).

After confirming her return with the tracks “Le Lapin”, “Stp” and “Rater une rupture pour les nuls”, Iliona unveils her debut album ‘What if I break up with you?’, released on March 14, 2025.
