Moodylow B2B Globul

It is as a duo that Globul and Moodylow shape the Bâbord Club stage at the Ronquières Festival, a space where their intertwined journeys fuel a bold and uncompromising lineup. As passionate curators, they orchestrate this electronic agora with a shared vision: merging heritage and modernity, while never losing sight of the essence—collective emotion.

Globul, a DJ and event organizer for over 40 years, embodies the living memory of the scene. From club residencies in San Sebastián in the late 80s to the Flashforward nights at Rockerill, which he co-pilots with Fabrice Lig, he seamlessly blends disco, acid, Detroit, and deep-tech in hybrid sets, always navigating the boundary between captivating old school and tribal new school. For him, music is a universal language—a bridge between generations.

Moodylow, his alter ego with eclectic influences, has been deeply rooted in the underground scene since 2008. As the manager of the Carolo Balaise Production collective, he has explored multiple musical landscapes, from abrasive techno to dreamy future bass, with touches of energetic UK garage and house. After an inspiring stint in Australia, he returned to Belgium with a renewed energy. Now a programmer for the Ronquières Festival, he combines his event expertise with an insatiable curiosity for offbeat sounds.

On Saturday, they will open the festival with a back-to-back set, promising a raw and electrifying electronic journey. Their performance will embody the very DNA of the stage they envisioned—a free space where past and future dance hand in hand.
