FÙGÙ MANGO

Fùgù Mango is the proof that the time is not one for defiance or withdrawal. From Brussels, the band assembles and mixes its melodies with African pulses, turning the Belgian capital into the new meeting point between afro beat and pop. "We love Danyèl Waro as much as The Knife, Peter Gabriel as much as Glass Animals", says Vince, the singer of the band.
The stages and festivals they have taken part in (Eurosonic, Printemps de Bourges, Boomtown, Europavox, Paléo Festival, Dour Festival, Nuits Botanique, Les Ardentes, Maanrock, ... and a tour in the Balkans where they met Django Django, among others) still resonate with the rhythm of “Mango Chicks”, their first EP released in 2016. The promises of this first opus were kept by “Alien Love”, their very first album released in 2017.
In 2021, the band is back with the track “SùBùGù”.
